When I was younger I
knew God had given me a talent to draw. I realized more when I did
portraits in 8th grade when I drew the Bicentennial Queen at a local
nursing home. I think it is important, especially young people, to
pursue their talent and hence be more apt for success.
Young or old you receive
a great strength of growth inside when you use and cultivate your
talent. It’s a magical and wonderful feeling when I draw and paint
and see a vision or dream come to a realization then have someone
else enjoy the beauty that’s been painted.
A good friend introduced me to Donna Dewberry’s One Stroke
painting. A great, fun way of painting many different kinds of
flowers, leaves and other decorative painting techniques. I paint on
different surfaces like furniture, wood pieces and glass. I am a
certified One Stroke Instructor. I can teach groups or personal
instruction in your home or mine.
